Dear Colleagues and friends,

It is my great honor and pleasure, on behalf of the organizing committee, to invite you to the Global Photovoltaic Conference 2023 (GPVC 2023) to be held in September 6 (Wed) – 8 (Fri), 2023 at KIMDAEJUNG Convention Center in Gwangju, Korea.

The annual installation of photovoltaics in Korea was already over 4 GW since 2020 and it is expected to reach above 200 GW globally during this year. The photovoltaic (PV) technology will obviously become one of the key and core issue to achieve the world-wide goal of carbon neutrality by 2050.

GPVC is the largest international photovoltaic conference in Korea since 2011. GPVC 2023 will provide the most comprehensive and an excellent conference platform for the PV community by sharing the latest developments and the cutting-edge technologies of the whole range of PV areas from material level to systems and reliability. It also covers the policy and the prospect of the future PV industry by organizing special satellite programs encompassing the national decarbonization agenda and the prime directive of renewable energy.

Gwangju is an advanced industry base of the photonic devices for lighting and illumination system in Korea with a variety of cultural and historical features as well. GPVC 2023 will provide opportunities for participants to enjoy the taste and beauty of Gwangju along with the high-quality technical programs to exchange novel ideas and knowledge after the long suffering of global COVID-19 pandemic.
